InterviewInterview. Why should you? You've probably had zero training in interview techniques. What's more, you're far too busy to give much forethought to the whole process. Untrained interviewers are ready victims for chronic job seekers. These perpetual malcontents often sound great during an interview. They say all the things you love to hear. Then, months later, you pay the price. If you don't use a professional to screen key candidates, at least do your homework. Call references, prepare an outline for the interview, and stick to it. Don't be afraid to ask tough, direct questions. If you have reservations about this person's suitability, say so. |
